Aquamarine Healing Properties and Meaning
Aquamarine. Tranquility, healing, reflection.

Dreamy Aquamarine is the March birthstone and we’re taking a deep-dive into its roots and healing properties.

What is Aquamarine?

Aquamarine is a blue crystal with hints of green, it can be found in many places around the world including the USA, Ireland, Mexico, India and Brazil. It’s closely associated with the sea, as it reflects its energy and has been used historically by sailors as a talisman to protect them from drowning.

Healing Properties

Reflecting the calming movement of water, Aquamarine provides feelings of peace and tranquility, quieting an overactive mind. It helps you keep cool-headed and go with the ebb and flow of life, particularly during testing times.

Known as a stone of courage, Aquamarine soothes fear and helps you to tackle whatever you’ve been avoiding. Particularly useful for people who struggle with speaking their truth, it is associated with the throat chakra, improving blocked communication and self-expression, helping you embody your authentic self.

A powerful stone for healing, Aquamarine inspires truth and trust. Just like the reflection of the sky mirrored on the ocean, it allows you to truly see yourself so that you can acknowledge, heal and move on from the scars of the past. It instills trust in the self and heightens spiritual awareness.

Physically, Aquamarine is known to soothe the throat, swollen glands and thyroid. It can strengthen cleansing organs and is associated with the eyes, jaw and stomach.
